Deerfield requires all applicants to submit standardized testing as part of a holistic admission approach. For details and requirements please review the following testing guidelines:

• Applicants to ninth and tenth grade: We will accept an SSAT, PSAT, or ISEE test taken between January 1, 2024, and January 15, 2025.
• Applicants to 11th grade: We will acceptany SAT, ACT, PLAN, PSAT, or SSAT taken between September 1, 2023, and January 15, 2025
• Applicants to 12th grade and Post-Graduates: We will accept any SAT, ACT, PLAN, or PSAT taken between September 1, 2023, and January 15, 2025.
• For international students whose primary language of instruction has NOT been English for at least three years or if English is not your primary language spoken at home, you must submit an IELTS, TOEFL iBT, or Duolingo English Test taken between January 1, 2024, and January 15, 2025.
