Testing Information |
Testing must be submitted from the current or previous academic year (beginning August 2020).
9th and 10th grade candidates are required to submit any State, county or district standardized test, SSAT or ISEE scores they have already taken, or plan to take. 11th grade candidates must submit the results of the SSAT, PSAT, SAT, or ACT. 12th grade and PG candidates must submit results from PSAT, SAT, or ACT. International Applicants: For applicants whose native language is not English, and whose language of instruction for the most recent four years of schooling has not been English, the TOEFL, Duolingo or IELTS is required. RECOMMENDATIONS:
Math & English recommendation forms may be completed by current or prior year teachers.
(quarter, trimester, or semester). We highly recommend grade report(s) be translated to English. Please make sure the upload includes the Official School Reports and full Grade Reports which include the current marking period grades and past 2 years of grades. For example,if a student is applying for 9th grade, then send grade reports for 6th, 7th and completed grades for the first marking period of 8th grade. |

INTERVIEWS: Interviews will be conducted online and in person. Please complete part 1 before scheduling your appointment; fee waivers available upon request. Day students are highly encouraged to submit part one and complete their interviews before October 31. Applicants from Community Based and Access Organizations: ( A Better Chance, TEAK, Oliver Scholars and NJ SEEDS): Must complete Part 1 of the Gateway application before December 15.
